There are lots of apps on your iPhone or iPad that automatically play videos without even taking your permission. Sometimes it might be helpful for you to see about the workings an app or how it looks like in the App Store, or if you are more interested in watching videos interconnected to the one you just watched earlier in any app.
But what happens, videos that play automatically often pisses you off, because this autoplay can be disturbing and irritating. It can also break your focus from something you were watching, and cause your battery to exhaust sooner. It does not just drain your device’s battery very soon but also consumes an excessive amount of the data usage.
Note: This feature of turning the Autoplay off is only available on iOS 11
Steps to turn off Video Autoplay in App Store:-
- Go to the Settings
- Click on “iTunes & App Store.”
- Then click on Video Autoplay
- You will find that its setting is On by default
- Click to Turn Off
- If you want to see videos play automatically without consuming your mobile data, you can click on Wi-Fi Only
Turn it Off or On anytime according to your need.
Turn off Autoplay in YouTube; this feature on YouTube also makes it annoying sometimes. The video autoplay feature on YouTube brings the videos in the queue, which are often related and unrelated to one another. You can stop the next video, but you have just a few seconds to act before it starts playing the video.
If you find this feature frustrating or irritating, then you have an option to turn it off. When you use YouTube in your device, you will see an Autoplay slider button.
Click on the Slider Button, and it will automatically turn Grey after clicking on it. And then the Autoplay will be disabled with it.
